Twelve Apostles

this might not actually be part of the 12 apostles but i really dont care, its all the same. a few of the 'apostles' - the rock bits in the sea - have collapsed in the last couple of years so the tourist board is trying its hardest to pull in the punters before its all gone. there are loads of good stories going round in this area, but many of them are just pr stunts.

Great Ocean Road (cont.)

tower hill park - a sunken volcano where I saw wild koalas, kangaroos, emus.

bay of martyrs - white settlers killed off the aboriginal inhabitants by walking them off the cliff edges. no joke.

i did a two day trip to see the road. one of the most beautiful places i've been, just stunning. i had the chance to do a little helicopter ride for 30 quid which was pretty good!

its been a busy week so blogging has been a bit delayed. melbourne is larger than london in physical size, its massive, so its been quite difficult to get my head round. commit no nuisance? no chance.

you may know that I hate toe-socks with a passion (you know, those socks with individual bits for the toes). today I saw someone wearing what I can only describe as toe-shoes. the shoes themselves had individual toe bits. as if that wasn't bad enough his girlfriend was wearing a matching pair. fucking mr and mrs bigfoot.

Manly Beach

there's the remains of an old ww2 battery up the hill. there's also the remains of some dog do-do.

Glebe

a very cool area that i liked a lot. apparently the rent isnt that high...

Fancy Dress Shop

this place was a bit cinematic. for some reason the reflection in the mirror reminded me of the ending of the machinist (?)

Wentworth Park

this park was amazing - its my favourite kind of landscape. i went a bit crazy taking pictures so had to be very selective with this post
